The golden hour preview's background music reminds me of turbulence. But, I just want to say that I love how much ATEEZ loves their fans. Like, genuinely loves them. I have never seen this sense of community before anywhere else, and it's like a breath of fresh air.
I've said this before in the past, but the way they go about interactions; hosting surprise events in cities you have to figure out, thanking us and speaking with us all so frequently? Seeking out our thoughts and opinions? It's special. Every single thing is curated to be like this, for us. All of the thought that goes behind it all is monumentally creative.
I hope artists in the future can lead by their example.
The way everything is presented - reminds me of the times when the internet was new. It has this sense of childlike wonder, discovering things and figuring it out on your own. Having hands-on experiences, and in person mysteries. Like games back in the day. You had to feel out puzzles with hints so subtle. It makes you contact people, it stirs up friendships, conversation, fascination - seeking out a fun mutual objective. It's a real sense of community built on a mutual passion. Sparking curiosity, and engagement. On a marketing level, it's brilliant too.
That's a feeling I always look for, seek out, and miss. In everything. Things we used to appreciate and eventually lost contact with because of the path society has taken us on. There was beauty in how manual it all was back then.
I think it's a feeling we all seek because we lose touch with it as we age. That's how ATEEZ makes me feel, particularly with how they present their comebacks. Like, the QR codes, the gacha egg machine, the Mito SoundCloud? Hongjoong making a Spotify to listen to ATINY's playlists? Yunho's cover? & SO much more, that's just scratching the surface. It's different, and unique, and brings about that nostalgia. Even though I'm an international ATINY I love seeing the joy of other people's experiences.
The message behind the recent preview, was also very heartfelt. It puts an emphasis on appreciation. Seeing beauty in what's mundane - how much we often take for granted but truly miss when we don't have it anymore. Not only that - but the video being a dedication to ATINY in the intro, too. I have so much love and appreciation to express right now for both ATEEZ and Atiny that I can't word it properly. I'm just so happy I've found this group of artists.
I'm very much looking forward to this album. I know it's going to make me cry, in a good way.
