this is the only post i'm going to make, out of an abundance of caution and respect for ys. i made a supportive post here for him before knowing what was going on, he has that love and support always. so this is purely focused on atiny right now. we need to be a lot more careful and do better when it comes to situations like this. i've been quietly watching all day, and the kinds of things i've seen from so many people aren't helping him. going after other members? other atiny? going after people he cares about while using his name? how is this actually helping ys? it's hard enough for ys to open up when things are bothering him; i'm very much the same and have a lot of empathy for that. if he felt safe enough to share something briefly with atiny, is this what we're doing with that trust? please step back and try to see all of this from his perspective. atz just started their comeback, and instead of being able to fully enjoy that with us, they now have to be even more careful of what they share. also, it's right before his own birthday. as a general rule, if you have issues about a company, address the company. write to the company (and also be aware that there are staff handling all of that who are living people too. what you say there matters as well). what is it accomplishing doing that here where we know, almost all of us know, that atz sees what we're saying. they've all been working hard and sharing their art with us is what they look forward to after all of that. if you want to truly support ys here, write about what brings you joy about him. tell him how something he said or did made a difference for you. actually lift him up. because right now, my fear is that he's going to end up closing up even more and blaming himself for something he has no responsibility for feeling bad about. what i'm ultimately saying is to please remember to be mindful of what you say, where you say it, and when and how it's said. words carry weight; so please don't place it on the shoulders of those already carrying so much. thank you. update as a final note: i've been looking around, and i still can't even find a reliable source that ys said anything in the first place. if he did, then he did, and my above points still stand. however it's becoming increasingly clear that we need to be even more careful about handling this situation. so please, please be respectful going forward. #atiny #larknotes
