there is a spectrum of ways to make a difference, but at a base level, the best we all can do is focus on where we each can help out. reach out, uplift voices, speak for those who can't. take care of one another, listen to the words and stories of those who are affected with an open mind and heart. stand up for eachother where you can. be compassionate and be kind. so many are living in fear who need a gentle word, human empathy. sometimes just support and knowing there's someone to trust can make a difference, however small. those who gain from all of this want us divided, isolated. regardless of where we are, there are people like this who are doing their best to dehumanize; those targeted right now are being held in focus because they're the most vulnerable, but historically it never stops there. it's about greed, power, and control. i know it's heartbreaking, i know it's so overwhelming. seeing what's happening feels so hopeless. but please, in the middle of so much hate, don't give up hope. not on yourself, not on our communities, not on everyone who is still fighting back against this destruction of human rights. if you can do one thing right now, only one, don't give up on that. for everyone everywhere, you matter, you are loved, you are never alone. please take care, stay safe. whatever you can manage right now is important and is more than enough. whether resting or in motion, just please keep going. ❤️‍🩹🫂 #atiny #larknotes
