it's 7am, i haven't slept yet, and i'm just sitting here doing my best to not cry (and failing), and i don't even know why it's making me so emotional. there's something about the song creation process, the way a person puts a piece of their soul into that artwork, and you can see it here. in the way hongjoong's eyes light up talking about making music, the way you can see how carefully seonghwa paid attention to the details and even if it wasn't all on video, you just know how much time he must have spent writing and recording his parts. this entire recording and production process and seeing even this much of the time, work, effort, and heart that went into everything. the amount of care and encouragement and support throughout the process. and then hongjoong apologizing for not recording more, when he's working so hard on so much, and i'm just sitting here like "do you know how much this much means to people? do you actually know how much you and seonghwa and all of you mean to all of us and how precious of a gift this is?" because yes, there's the technical and creative aspects being shared, but for me it's also the human aspect, because there's something genuinely so open and vulnerable in showing how your mind and heart weave every thought, every note, every detail together. and they gave those parts to us. seonghwa and hongjoong shared as much as they could, and i have an even greater respect and love for them now. and on top of everything, what gives this song the extra shine is how it was made from a desire that they both needed to love what they created. even when referencing more serious topics, it was made from a place where they could have fun with it, that would make them both happy. and it shows. it really does. all i have right now is a phone and memos of writing, but watching them working so hard just inspires me even more to use what i have and work the best i can while clinging to this dream. because it's seeing how much this art and all that it puts into the world means to them, it's seeing that inner fire burning so brightly. they are such an immense inspiration, and i can't thank them enough. hongjoong, seonghwa, i'm so proud of you beyond any amount of words. thank you for all you are and for all you give from the heart always. thank you. i love you. 💚🎶🐦✨ - ari #ateez #에이티즈 #hongjoong #홍중 #seonghwa #성화 #matz #mypolaris #larknotes
