Passion is fragile. Some people are devoted to a multitude of interests in their lifetime. I am one of those. When the fire ignites, I'm all in until... I'm not. I have always envied those who hold a passion for years, decades, their entire life. I admire them. I want myself to be this way. I have such an appreciation in Choi Jongho. When he's interested, he IS all in. It was like that with soccer and now with his singing career. His work ethic is a testament to his passion and he was lucky to have a family who supported his interests and gave anything they could to help him. He discovered at a young age his passion. He learned working hard for what he wanted in his youth and he's still all in. Jjongppos recognize his dedication and want to reward his many years of hard work. They wait for atiny to honor his passion, his drive, his contribution to the arts of South Korea, his heart. Jjongppos would carry the moon and hoist the sun for Jongho. They would halt time so that he may sit in joy for just a little longer. They would shield him from all things painful and encourage him to sing until his throat was raw. And he would relish that. He was born for that. Jongho and his Jjongppos have a caring bond. A familial partnership. A sweet sanctuary. A safe space. He knows this and he's pledged fealty to be the shoulder you cry on, the hand you hold, the breath you exhale. When he dithered between soccer vs. singing... he chose ATEEZ. He chose his hyungs, he chose his Jjongpoos, he chose Atiny. It is my deepest wish from the depths of my soul that Jongho's hard work will some day be rewarded. I keep fighting toward that day in hopes others will follow suit and join me to celebrate this beautiful man who has given his life for us.
